The engine control unit regulates the performance of the injection pump to maintain the required line pressure as fuel is consumed.

In turn, the fuel line is connected to the injectors. Each injector has a built-in control valve, electromagnetic or piezoelectric. At the command of the control unit, the valve opens, injecting the required portion of fuel into the cylinder.

And if there are no position sensors on the injection pump, then it does not matter in what position the gear (shaft) of the injection pump is located relative to the crankshaft and camshaft. Continue to remove the belt, idler wheel, and tension rollers, as well as the pump.

Step 4. By removing the components that we have mentioned, you can now install the new synchronization kit to replace the distribution belt of the Ford Focus 1.6 tdci 115cv.

Lastly, you remove the timing locks, remove the engine leg and bracket, remove the bracket from under the paddle, and pour new antifreeze into the cooling system. This way, the car is back in service.
